The WEIMA briquette press designed for the lens manufacturing industry, compresses lens debris and swarf into compact briquettes, reducing the waste material volume by up to 95%.

Briquette press for unrivaled swarf management
The WEIMA briquette press reduces waste material handling and labor, saves money on waste disposal costs, and recovers up to 50% more coolant. Designed to work with 1 or 2 HC6 Microseparator® Systems, depending upon model.
Lens debris is automatically transported from Chip Separators to the WEIMA briquette press. Recovered coolant from the briquetting process is pumped back to the HC6 tank(s). With more than 4000 psi (275 bar) hydraulic pressure a briquette press offers around 95% of recovery of water and coolant.
Available in two configurations:
TH600 Vario briquette press
Supports 6 digital lens generator & works together with 1 Microseparators® HC6 or HC6 Plus System.
TH800 Vario briquette press
Support very large scale Rx-labs & works together with 2 Microseparators® HC6 or HC6 Plus Systems.
